Since 1970, KPFT 90.1 FM has been bringing Houston and the surrounding area publicly-funded radio through the Pacifica Network. And for the better part of 3 decades, The Lonestar Jukebox has been one of the stations most successful programs. Hosted by Rick Heysquierdo, the Saturday morning staple features an eclectic array of Americana music – from classic country and Texas music legends to bluegrass, blues, rock and the as yet undiscovered.
DMMD was enlisted to create a Visual Identity for the program, and for over a decade has provided Event Planning and Promotion, Signage, Wearables… heck, we even wrote a Theme Song.
